Group Exhibition at Chelsea College of Arts London, 8th-16th January 2015.

 

I took part in this group exhibition of 1st year MFA students. The 20/ 20 exhibition provided an opportunity to showcase a piece of work within a group show that had a cohesiveness. All the artworks were 20 x 20 cm as this size constraint echoed the challenges of the limitation of the exhibition space. We all met up before to discuss and agree on a theme and to organise how to deal with the practicalities of hanging the show.

 

 

Outcomes: The exhibition made me aware of the importance of clear communications and deadlines, especially when working with 37 other artists. It gave me the opportunity to work collaboratively and to get feedback and have peer review of my work, all very valuable in moving my practice forward.
